Sherbet is part of the BKcoolclub group and at the moment maybe their hottest club. I am fan of the Pent on Wireless road, but Sherbet certainly way improved in the last 2 years. Some local friends I asked confirmed that Sherbet might be one of the hottest G-clubs at the moment in Bangkok.
The location on Ekamai is good, although I prefer the Pent location more – it depends on where you stay.
I met there a person from the club who knew Chompoo with whom I organized a party at 808, 2 years ago. She called her and I had to find out that she lives/works now in Singapore.
I think Sherbet is pretty good and I will be coming back.
Global Nanpa is back with a fresh, updated design and some new features. We are still working on more stuff which isn’t availabe yet. It will will take around another year to get some ideas implanted.
The video guide section is now much better structured than before already, thanks Ni. It is not finished yet, it will take until fall 2012 to make it better.
The last trip really broke a barrier. In general I would say : everything is possible now. I just have to decide for which action I want to spend my energy on. The old limits of money and time can hardly be felt anymore. Still, I dislike wasting resources of all means where I don’t see any value for.
Once you cross the EUR 1000 per day stay barrier you are mainly paying for having everything private for yourself and at a level beyond that (3000++) you are mainly paying for the prestige/show.
This amateur video stuff can hardly improve by me alone anymore that’s why I called for external help to hopefully bring things to a higher standard. I had worked with Jakob twice before and now we will focus on a more serious project that will take almost a year to get officially released.
I still try to involve as less people as possible here, but I had reached my own limits on the former website that’s why I asked other people for help.
There is not much time left until the next trip and I am so damn busy again with my real job that I have no idea how to release 10.000 pictures and 100 GB video material (can’t call me lazy…) from the last trip.

Who knows, maybe Jakob and I get to see Brad Pitt and a big Hollywood crew next time we are out there ?! When I stayed at Six Senses Koh Yao Noi in November, the news just came in that Brad Pitt and a Hollywood crew want to rent the entire resort in December, most likely working on a massive new Thailand project. On my day of leave of Six Senses, they delayed their plans because of the current flooding problems those days in Bangkok.
Hollywood landed a big hit with Hangover 2 where the action takes place at Ritz-Carlton-Phulay Bay, Krabi and in Bangkok.
It is too funny, but Cherry (Baccara, Soi Cowboy, Bangkok) and some other people (friends of Sam/Tilac bar, Soi Cowboy, Bangkok) told me that some staff people from the Hangover 2 crew still often frequent their bars, sitting outside (not inside) the bars and barfining girls. And now you tell me that Thai bargirls aren’t a powerful weapon of mass destruction ?! LOL.

Gerard, Angeles City’s most innovative entrepreneur, from ABC (Angeles Beach Club) hotel introduced me to some of his grand plans in Makati, Manila – a real shocker, but more about that later. He actually did fly 1 day after me to Pattaya and the guy from La Pasha was on the same plane to Thailand like me.
What’s new in Bangkok :
Mr.Klingenberg (former Anantara hotel, Chiang Saen) from Muse hotel showed me around the hotel, Medici restaurant, when we accidentally ran into each other.
The Siam Hotel will most likely be opened mid of June 2012 and the Central Embassy mall / Park Hyatt hotel might be finished around end of 2013.
The new shopping mall Terminal 21, next to Sheraton hotel Sukhumvit, got an interesting airport theme.
I met plenty of cool characters and there are lots of things to report about – if I only had more time…

They have plenty of fun events at Maiake. I was lucky to witness a cosplay event which was the first time in Thailand I had seen that.
The girls are really sexy but still I have to say in general in all G-clubs the girls are mostly not really pushing it to the limit in terms of dancing and it is too much work-environment.
G-clubs are great to hang out, to have some drinks, watch the girls in their sexy outfits and to maybe get entertained by an erotic or fun show. You have to find out for yourself if that excites you.
The place is not well known among foreigners and they don’t do as much PR as the BKcoolclub group does. I wonder why I haven’t heard earlier about the place. A friend at St. Moritz recommended the place to me.
A main reason that easily let’s you decide against it is the location. It is really damn far away if you are coming from the Sukhumvit area, around 45min by car. Once you go there, half of your night is determined already and it will be difficult to quickly leave again in case it doesn’t rock.
There is another big G-club close to it : Big Apple. I visited it as well, it is a good one, but I chose to review Maiake, because I simply had a better first impression.
Maiake is really big, they employ around 100 girls and they have the highest amount of sexy coyote dancers of all Bangkok G-clubs at the moment from my point of view !
The second downer however next to the location is that most girls only speak very little English. When sitting next to a girl who isn’t able to chat with you, you might get a strange feeling. I was glad that Tar went there with me. Although I didn’t see a farang, they appeared farang-friendly and were really eager to show and explain me everything. Thanks a lot ! In general they have only Thai customers.
I knew I would forget the pricing structure after a few weeks when drinking heavy in between, so I photographed what our host wrote down : Membership is like ususal THB 20k including 5 bottles of black label whiskey, 35 drinks. A member pays for a beer THB 90. They don’t have Singha or Chang, only Federbraeu ! Arghh. But when you call them beforehand they can get you whatever you want.
A ladies drink lasts for 40min and costs THB 320. When you visit the place without a membership to see if you like it, you must pay at least for 3 drinks. So, pricing sounds pretty usual to me.
G-clubs are however only fun for me when being at least slightly drunk. My second time I went there sober – well, it is actually a pretty sick game, certainly more sick than the bargirl’s world. Better get drunk and have some fun….
The Pent on Wireless road, next to Swissotel is still the number #1 G-club of Bangkok for me. They have the best organized shows, you feel that things run professional and the girls mostly speak ok English too, happy to cater to farangs as well.
The location is good and the location will even win higher attraction when they start constructing the shopping mall Central Embassy and the Park Hyatt (2014) close to it. I think the ground was sold from the British Embassy, I am not sure. The japanese Okura hotel will be soon on that street as well. Nothing can stop the Pent….

The time in Bangkok was smashing again. Bangkok simply is the place within SEA where I know my ways best and where i had been most often. Many things make it convenient to go for Bangkok. The girls within Thailand look best which is understandable because there they can expect most money. The hotels across whole Thailand are best, Chiang Mai I would rate second. The diversity of things you can do in Bangkok is huge. Accomodation is fantastic : From budget stays to super-luxurious and the best is that you get that for around a quarter of the price you would pay in most western countries. The service degree and friendliness of people is unique in SEA anyway and Bangkok is the easiest city to experience it.
When coming out of the airport and noticing that tropical climate, you might feel home soon and can’t wait to return to walk through the doors into freedom again. It is a state of mind that makes it feel so special. Many things, political and economical are far from being good and it is not a great place to work at. But it is a superb place to enjoy, relax, explore and living your fantasies.
The spa and massage parlors, dirty and non-dirty are the best in the world. Only Jakarta is able to compete in this league. The normal spa like Devarana spa, Potalai or Let’s Relax are simply out of this world. This degree of quality you only find at very rare spots in the world. In Thailand most people start to find out that they still have a body and that they are not pure mental beings. After working crazy for months, you really start to forget your body, I myself am currently in that rhythm again. I learned to indulge in SEA and work like non-exisiting in Germany. I simply figured out that this is the best option for me now. Time is flying anyway…
Although I know the fun I have / can have in cities like Bangkok, the experience didn’t screw my brain (which is rare) and I know what I have from my life in Germany. I would never endanger my base. I stick to simple rules and never expect too much. You cannot always win and cannot always have a great day everywhere. Cut your losses and leave a place once you don’t feel comfortable anymore. I did this on Koh Samui and left earlier than planned on the recent trip, not caring about prepaid hotels anymore. It is just not wise to enforce things.
I also would recommend not to make too strict plans in general for SEA. Most people often do something completely else only shortly after arriving there which is cool, because they go with the flow.
I am personally still always dissapointed about Bangkok’s 2 am closing hours which makes nighlife start too early for my taste and things get rushed too fast into shorter time slots. Moreover for nightlife business, this is a real killer. People start to make crazy drink orders when they get drunk and that mostly won’t happen before midnight, so you have just 2 hours making a lot money in those euphoric states of customers. For me there would be no motivation at all to do bar/club/nightlife business with such existing laws/practiced bribes and overall political situation.
You might wonder why I actually rarely talk about the experiences with the girls. I simply think that this is just not interesting. Shall I write in what positions I fucked them ? I like the Bangkok girls, I would not go there so often if that would not be the case, right ? I enjoy the normal Soi Cowboy / Nana Plaza bargirl meat-market as well as massage parlors as well as G-Clubs and Uni girls. Bangkok has them all and things just come in front of your nose in a convenient way without too much hassle I think. One more interesting thing : I have now videos of all big red light districts across whole SEA. Only looking at the videos, you might say that the prettiest come from Jakarta and Bangkok. However what currently dazzles me is the vibe you feel in my raw, not manipulated, video material. I think the vibe on Fields Avenue, Angeles City is just unmatched at this point of time worldwide.
